As we head into spring programming, PMHA would like to share some important updates so families know what to expect in the coming weeks.  With U9 and U10 tryouts now moving to the spring under updated OHF and OMHA timelines, PMHA is required to follow this earlier tryout window. To ensure each age group receives their 4 required pre-skates before tryouts, some pre-skates must take place in March.  Our goal is to make sure players are not off the ice for extended periods as we move through pre-skates and the tryout process. The volunteer effort and passion shown throughout the selection process reflect the strength of our association.

PMHA is excited to host a Swap & Shop Event this Saturday, March 14 at the Petrolia Lions Hall from 10 AM – 2 PM. Thanks to many generous donations, we’ll have bags, player gear, and goalie equipment available for families and players who can put it to good use. Whether you’re trading outgrown gear or looking to get started in hockey, this event is all about supporting our hockey community.No profits, no markups—just swapping and sharing.

PMHA is accepting applications for coaches of all age levels.  If you want to coach or be an assistant with a PMHA team, at representative or recreational.  You need to apply by Febuary 15, 2026. UPDATE: PMHA has confirmed U10B1 for the 2026/27 season, but we will not be running U8MD.
